Does anyone know if CHL carry is allowed at Seawolf Park in Galveston?

A quick search of the website; http://www.galveston.com/seawolfpark/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Gives no info as to the jurisdictional authority of the park, but I believe them to be a city park. I believe, but don't know for sure, that this means you can carry there.

Sorrry I can't help more, but consider it a free bump. :biggrinjester:

Seawolf Park is owned by the City of Galveston and thus cannot legally be restricted.

I haven't been there since before Ike. At that time there was no signage, search, or metal detectors.

The USS Cavalla is private property owned by a foundation. However, the last time I was there, access was unrestricted after you paid the entry fee.

In general, I have never had a problem in Galveston or heard of one. The only restricted places are restricted by statute, with the possible exception of the police station.

Sorry to pull up an old thread, but I'm going here today, can anyone confirm that this is owned by the city? Anyone see any signage there recently?
