I have an issue with my S&W 1911. I bought the pistol with night sights already installed. I shot her and noticed she was a little off to the right. I thought it was just a new pistol, gotta get used to it. After a while it started to get to me and took out my Kimber and shot her. As always, she shot fine. Later when I got home and cleaned the S&W I noticed the sights started moving a bit. There was my problem. It looks like the sights some how came loose. Is this possible? Either way, I need to get them adjusted and secured.
I was wondering if any of yall knew any gunsmiths here in San Antonio that I can go to? Recommendations?
Thanks in advance, fellas.

I always used Dury's guns for working on mine when I needed it.

I took my 1911 to Dury's to have them install Trijicon night sights. Excellent job and very professional.
The guy they pulled from the cave at Nagel's? Not so much. I fled that place and never went back.

Re: San Antonio Gunsmiths?
I think all the retail gunshops have gunsmiths -- Nagel's, Texas Guns, Dury's etc. Just google.
Alex Hamilton is a long time gunsmith -- as in decades -- does gunsmithing as primary trade (as opposed to being part of a retail operation). His place is on the north side of San Antonio. Used to --maybe still does -- write a gunsmith column in one of the gun mags. Specializes in 1911s (he built some flintlock 1911s
years ago, saw one on the wall of his shop), but does other work as well. I had him work on my Browning Hi Power and I think the cost was reasonable. He was booked up weeks/months in advance. He might actually be overqual'd/overbooked to do something as small as locking down a loose sight, but would not hurt to call. Maybe he could sandwich it between big jobs.
His phone is on the website:

Very nice guy to talk with. When I had my work done, I think he employed maybe one other guy do do finishing and so forth.
Good luck.
