Took CHL Class tonight

Post by jdlott74 »

Took the CHL 1st timer class today at Bullet Trap in Plano. Was a really great class. Learned a lot of things and finally figured out which gun I am going to buy. Bullet Trap does their class, pictures and filling out forms and notary on Saturday and then you come back on Monday to do the fingerprinting and quals. HIGHLY recommend doing the class at Bullet Trap and getting a membership if you live nearby. MOST of the guys in there are great.
My CHL Application
10/23/2010 -- CHL class
10/25/2010 - Quals and Fingerprinting Done
11/3/2010 -- Application mailed to DPS
11/9/2010 -- Received at DPS
12/18/2010 -- Plastic in hand

Congratulations on taking the class there at Bullet Trapp. Glad you enjoyed.

Bullet Trapp is where my wife and me took out class just two weeks ago. We took the all in one class and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Congratulations! I attended a class a week ago Saturday (10/16). Keep us up to date on your application process and I'll be doing the same.

Congrats on taking your CHL class and knowing what gun you
are going to buy.

But don't keep us all hanging - which gun are you going to buy
and what was your thought process for choosing it?

Finding the right gun for you is the easy part - finding the carry
rig that will work for you is the HARD part!! :-)
