SAXET shows returning to Austin???

Topic says it all.

I may have occasion to drive down to to San Antonio soon, so I was looking at the SAXET shows website ( http://www.saxetshows.com/_schedule.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) to see when the show is being held down there.

And, lo and behold, there's an ad for a "new location" in Austin in November and December.

So . . . can anyone confirm that this is being held by the SAXET shows' original promoter, or is it some kind of a courtesy listing for the crummy show that's been polluting the old Target building off of I-35 for the past year or two?

Nope. New venue. I've been there before, it will be a big improvement over what we've seen in the last few years. Hopefully it won't be a "Gun Sales For The Uneducated" Show.

ugh, that's almost as far south as the junky Target show .... doesn't anyone want to hold a gun show in Williamson County where God-loving Conservative gun owners actually LIVE?!?!?!? why do they keep trying to hold these shows in godless anti-gun Austin?

oh well, I guess I'll probably give it a try again one of those weekends (just in time for Christmas shopping! )

Actually, does anyone know for sure if this place is in Austin city limits? It's a bit off the beaten path out there by Long Lake. Good location to stop by after an IDPA match at ARC.
