I can see someone half sleep, when he hears a noise. Wakes up, picks up his real gun and shoots the lamp. Dumb idea IMHO. :nono:

Remote controlled lights - good.
Making the remote resemble a gun - bad.

I read about a tragic case recently where someone mistook a real gun for a gun-shaped lighter...and put a bullet in a family mbr. Everyday objects shaped as guns: bad, bad idea.

Comments are priceless. I love internet humor...

just my $0.02....but if you are so groggy, or haven't shot your REAL gun enough to tell the difference between your sidearm and a gun shaped remote control when something goes bump in the night....perhaps you have no business bopping around the house with EITHER. And GOOD LUCK dialing 9-1-1

"{bump in the night}....WTH! Gimme my (real) gun.....soooo sleeeeeeepy.......HEY WHO ARE YOU!!?? DADDY it's M...BOOM, BOOM, BOOM"
