New addition to the arsenal

Post by Kevinf2349 »

Well after a short break from buying firearms we re-entered the fray last week.

We picked up this gun for my wife to carry as her daily backup carry weapon (replacing Elsie).

She got smitten by this gun from shooting Elizabeth's at The Arm's Room and decided that it was the gun for her. The LCP may now become my truck gun.

Here it is...The Sig Sauer P238. It came with the night sights already on it and it is the SAS model (all the 'sharp' bits have been rounded off). It is a lovely little gun to look at and it is the closest to a 1911 that we own!: .... but it probably won't be the last.

ps Sorry I missed the PSC TXCHL open day. I had to attended a funeral visitation that day. Next year.

Good stuff; I think I may be getting rid of my Taurus TCP if these P238s prove reliable

Kevin, Sweet lil 1911

Looking forward to the range report. :bigear:

P.S...isn't it nice to be able to find .380 ammo once again? ;-)

Yup, one night at the Arms Room and wife rented the P238 they have there. Walked out with a new Rosewood model for my wife. She loves it. Not bad shooting at all. She will like it. I gave her my $300 I was saving for my new 1911. Finally got that money back now and got mine. Gave me a better excuse to get it since she got a new gun.
