Picked up a few boxes of .223 and .30 carbine at WalMart today to replenish what was used on Sunday.... oh, and a case of 9x18 yesterday, because the Mak's been feeling a bit neglected lately. ;-)

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

It's here again!

National Ammo Day, Nov. 19th

National Ammo Week, Nov 17th-25th.

With the price increases since last year, we may not be able to buy as much as previously, but buy as much as you can afford.

Remember, it's going higher every day!

Way to go, resurrecting this thread!!!

I'm glad because I don't speak French...Sorry Kim du (something French)...

I usually get the urge after every election this time of year to go buy a case, or a box, whatever I can afford...

Got to start rotating some of the stock I suppose... ;-) In the fun way...

Ammo prices aside...I'm sure we can find a deal somewhere...

Got to keep a positive attitude fellers! Come on!

I'll pick some up on Monday. If the money I am waiting for, I will also buy a gun this month

From Kim, last year:
What if, on just one day of the year, every gun owner in the United States went out and bought a hundred rounds of ammunition?

Given that there are as many as seventy-five million gun owners in the United States, the net result would be that 7.5 billion rounds of ammunition would go into public circulation, in one day.

Now not every gun owner is going to do this. Heck, of the 75 million gun owners, only about 6% (4 million-odd) belong to a Second Amendment-supporting organization like Gun Owners of America, the Second Amendment Sisters, RKBA, and of course the NRA. Not everyone is going to get the word, either, especially as you will hear not a peep about this in the established gun media, let alone in the so-called “mainstream media.

But what if just 15% of all gun owners bought themselves a hundred rounds of ammo on the same day? That would be over a billion rounds of ammunition going into circulation—and that’s what I’m aiming for.

On a serious note, some of the antis want to end our way of life by virtually stopping distribution of ammo.
I had a thread about this in the federal section. Hillary does not have to ban guns. She can simply ban ammo. Hillary is basically the
