Video of man robbing store with machete. We should think twice about the comfort or our concealed handguns! WOW. This situation had the potential to get really really ugly

Convenience stores really make me uncomfortable. Thank goodness for pay at the pump....I use it almost exclusively.

Yes that situation had the potential to go south in a hurry! Luckily she was somewhat "prepared" for the situation. It's obvious that the crook is well within the infamous "21 foot" range, it wouldn't have taken much for this scenario to go from bad to worse.

ok... What are the odds that a guy chooses a machete as his weapon only to try and rob a place where the clerk is armed with a machete.
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

It's southeast Florida. "Machete culture" is a definite factor there.

I'm kind of amazed that he came away with his left hand still attached.

Machete's are cheap too, you can buy one at walmart for $5. Cheaper than most pocket knives.

Great Video!

Was really interesting to see the criminal draw his machete. It was concealed(BIG blade to conceal!) and he drew it subtlety.

It also seemed like the other female clerk didn't even know what was going on

The first clerk with the machete had a decent defensive advantage behind the counter. I'm surprised she didn't even try to cut the criminal.
