Smith & Wesson cleaning products

Post by tboesche »

Anybody use them? Thoughts? A friend is a distributor for the parent company, Liquid Wrench, and has given me a box full of their gun cleaning products. Anybody have any experience with them?

I use home made "Ed's Red" cleaner, Mobil 1 oil, and Lubraplate grease. Lots cheaper and works as good or better than the higher proced "gun" products.

they're good stuff. I've gotten samples at a couple of NRA meetings and the cleaner/oil is slicker than all get out.

From what I've seen (limited experience--messed with some demos at a gun show) they're good stuff...wouldn't hesitate to use them, especially their gun oil.

+1 on Ed's Red. Just mixed up my first batch last night and wonder why I ever spent all that money on the commercial stuff!
