Best $5 I have spent on reloading.
I got a small clamp on light from one of the big box stores for about $5.
I clamped it on the rod holding the case feeder.
Works perfect.
and there was light

Good that you solved your problem. But I guess I missed the initial
discussion and don't really know what that problem was, other than
assuming a general lighting issue.
I lit up my reloading area with a high intensity light on a long swingarm
with a very heavy base. That way I can put very bright light where
ever I need it. I got two of them several years ago as they were quite
a bargain at about $7 each. Have not seen them for sale since. But I
have not had to look either as they just keep on working.

I have several lights
I have a light with a magnifying glass and one with out. Both have long adjustable arms. (Priced $20 to $50 each.)
I never was able to get the light into the bottom of a .38 Super case. Or at least to the top of the gun powder.
I was wandering through the big box hardware store and found $5 clamp on light.
Clamped it on to the arm of my 650's case feeder and was able to point the light exactly where I wanted it.
The magnifying glass light is good for checking the crimp and the both of the old lights provide general light for the bench.
I just couldn't get them to point exactly where I wanted and stay there.
