Anybody have an opinion on the Hellcat .380?
I saw one of these at the HC Gunshow a couple weeks ago and it seemed to be fairly sturdy. Centerfire Systems has them for $199.00 with 2 mags and a pocket/iwb holster. Seems like it would be good to just keep in the console of my truck. So what do ya'll think? Anyone messed with one?
If I was gonna buy a dedicated car gun, ie on that is never carried, I would go for something a little bigger in caliber and easier to handle. Just my thoughts.
I already have a Smith Sigma that stays in my truck, just thought this could join it. Something I could keep in the console and throw on if I wasn't carrying on my person. Its hard to conceal that big Sigma without planning, with this one I could just keep it in the IWB holster that comes with it and clip it on the inside of my pants.
My guess is that it'll be as unreliable as all the other pocket .380s I've tried or shot. I've just about given up of the pocket 380 trend. Pick any model [P3AT|LCP|TCP|P238|Diamondback|Hellcat] and you'll find 10 people that have had issues and 10 people that have had no issues. Then you'll get people that claim 100% reliability....after 100 rounds :) Until someone comes out with a pocket size Glock 26/27, I'm just sitting back and watching....

Good luck finding 10 dissatisfied LCP owners. One should really do research before disparaging so many guns in one post.

Glock 26s & 27s are pocket sized.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

It's not hard to find dissatisfied LCP owners. Here's a simple google search that will return quite a few problem threads:
As far as research, nothing is quite like firsthand right? With exception to the Hellcat, I have owned or know someone that has owned every model I listed.

LOL, not quite. I can fit lots of stuff in my pockets but doesn't make them pocket sized. As I'm sitting in my desk, I just put a Swingline stapler in my front pocket.
