Finished Modifying My Buckmark Bullseye Target

A few weeks ago I went to the Allen Gunshow and picked up a Buckmark Bullseye Target SS. I liked it so much I purchased a second one and made some modifications to it. Added a Tactical Solutions fluted/threaded 5.5" barrel, some aluminum grips, an Integral Rail and a compensator (just for a little "bling") I'll use an Aimpoint H-1 optic on it. Not sure if it's going to be mounted forward or not, I'll have to try different positions. I think I'm leaving the other one stock except for adding an Integral Rail in case I want to use an optic.

Here are the new girls on the block. I never thought I'd be buying any 22s but these guns are just great fun at the range.

QB you have great taste! The Buckmark is my favorite 22. I paid for mine by winning Turkey Shoots with it.

Academy has the Buckmark Camper for $279. Perfect for starting if one is going to change the barrel, grips, etc. anyway.

and also agree on the bling thing, I have a 10/22 w/a TacSol barrel and was thinking about adding a comp. Its a little spendy though, but I'm also cheap...

It's more about competition, imo, than ballistics.
When shooting Bullseye competition there are two strings of shooting called Timed Fire, and Rapid Fire. Rapid is 5 shots in 10 seconds.
The compensator really helps to keep the muzzle down, and a less hectic string of fire. Instead of struggling to stay on target.

For those unfamiliar, shoot 10 rounds in 20 seconds at a 2" circle, from 25 yards one-handed (un-supported).

Bullseye and the NRA term "Conventional Pistol Competition" are the same.

It iS hard, but it's so good for all your other shooting. The "Slow Fire" portion is from 50 yards. 10 shots in ten minutes. brain breaker...
I read the scores from the National at Camp Perry, and know,, I am not worthy...
