Glock 27 and Crossbreed IWB

Post by Matt78665 »

Assuming that the planets align, I will have in my possesion shortly a Glock 27. I have a Crossbreed IWB holster for my Glock 22. I have tried the 27 and it fits into the molded section well. I was wondering if anyone had exp using the Crossbreed with a Glock 27? I would appreciate any input or assessments of the potential combo.

Works great. Very comfortable. I have the "slide" version of CBST for Glock but don't see why the G22 version wouldwork any differently.

The CBST and Glock 27 are my daily carry. In the 4 o'clock position I have never had any problems with concealment or comfort with whatever I happen to be wearing.

While your at it check out the GAP enterprises finger rest. I highly recommend them.

not to highjack but imho with the finger rest you might as well get a g23... as it lengthens your grip you might as well lengthen the barrel cause it will be slightly shorter than a 23 with a 27 w extensions if that makes any sence, but i am a skinny guy so i need all the concealment i can get so i stick with the flush mags and a g22 mag for backup.
I disagree with this assessment. I have both a G27 and G23 and the G27 even with a +1 Pearce extension still conceals a bit better/easier than G23. It's a matter of degree, and neither is difficult to conceal if positioned correctly and covered by an adequate untucked shirt. But The G27 is just a bit easier under either a shorter or tighter than optimally fitting shirt.

The thing about the GAP product is that it is not an extension. It's more of a little lip on the front of the magazine. I also have the Pearce extensions but never use them. I don't think they interfere with concealment, it's just one of those preference things. I actually prefer the short grip with that extra help from GAP finger rest.
