On the Kahr, the slide dominates the width. The slide release slicks out slightly on the left side but other than that the gun is .9"(that's just the slide width, their site doesn't specify the overall width)

(I actually carry the 709 though when I kayak ... it has a thumb safety/carried in a life jacket pocket.)
If no thumb safety ... it's just another PF9, which I should sell ...
