A semi-automatic revolver...? Isn't that a oxymoron or something like that?

I would like to shoot one.

Might need a different grip though.

If'n they fix the trigger issue and the grip I could be pursuaded to buy one.

I will never carry a Glock.

You have a point. I'll work on the disclaimer.

I would think it would need some sort of shield to protect the trigger finger from the gasses that blow out from between the cylinder and the forcing cone. Anyone who has made the mistake of holding a revolver like one would a semi-auto knows what I'm talking about. Even with the tight fit of a Python, gasses leak through and they can burn.

Yeah, I'm not sure about all that. While novel, I can't get over this feeling of a little too gimmicky.

If you read the grip instructions posted on their website, that is one of the things that they warn you not to do. It requires a completely different grip from a typical revolver.

Yep! A former coworker of mine shot a Heritage Rough Rider .22 of mine with just a subsonic .22LR round and burned his hand from the cylinder gap. I kinda wish I would've had the Magnum cylinder in with a hot round! :biggrinjester:

I quickly read a review in a gun mag at the store.

The gunmaker is aware of the escaping gas problem and may
redesign this aspect of the revolver.

The president of the gunmaker is a former LEO.

The Rhino has an 8.0 pound trigger.

The Rhino has a 6 round capacity in .357.
