I know, I know. I just always enjoy the Glock discussions. I still can't figure out why they felt the need to improve perfection. :biggrinjester:

I do have friend who has the same set up and has had no issues at all, so he has not felt the need to make the swap. My 3rd gen G19 is the gun that I would keep if I could only keep one. I suspect that you will enjoy yours as well.

If I could only keep one, it would be my G23.

I love how the fan boys attack anyone who says anything negative about their product of choice. When I was looking at Glocks and M&Ps yesterday I made the mistake of mentioning the spring issue in front of a fellow customer who happened to be a fan boy. He could not believe I had the audacity to say anything negative about any Glock. It was ironic when he asked me to step outside and settle it like a man considering he was about 4 inches shorter than I and about 100lbs lighter (Working on that problem currently). The clerk at the counter told me I really should stick around until someone buys an XD in front of the fan boy, he almost needs to be restrained they say. Turns out he is a regular customer of their buying Glocks, ammo, and accessories.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

I understand liking a product, but that's a bit over the top. Personally I am more of an anti-fan boy in the sense that I have products I love to hate, mainly because I think they are overhyped (cough, Apple, cough).

I like Glocks, but I wouldn't try to fight someone who disagreed. I'd just feel sorry for the fact that they are forever stuck using inferior weapons and having to worry about silly things like getting a scratch on their purty little gun, or buying just the right brand of ammo to make it (hopefully) go bang, or having to clean some of the mud off it before shooting, etc. Lfe is too short to worry about such nonsense.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

The Vikings are consumers of overhyped products (Favre, Moss, etc). The Vikings themselves aren't overhyped.

That would require them to have some hype in the first place, wouldn't it?
