I think I would get a pretty good size deer with that, and I wouldn't even have to skin it afterwards.

It doesn't look very mobile though, so it's not really *practical*.

This is what I'd really like.

I wanna be a MythBuster.

having one of the Dillon mini-guns sure would cut down on traffic. But, I think we'd have to get the DVD player out of the back...

You better be carefull using that word "reload". Lefties might accuse you of inciting violence. Look how they hammer Sarah Palin for using that same word.

The ULTIMATE home defense weapon!!!!

Not sure I could afford the thousands of dollars of ammo required to become proficient with it though. I know my heavy trigger finger would blast until I had NO ammo left.

The thing is, they didn't really test like against like. They were shooting a little 'ol M249 SAW before bringing up the minigun, but I would like to have seen what a M240 in 7.62 could have done. Granted, the tree came down quickly because of the minigun's rate of fire; but I'd be willing to bet that a 240 could have done it too... Just a little more time. Would a minigun chambered in 5.56 cut the tree down? We'll never know.

But would the M240 set the trunk on fire?
