Smith & Wesson Governor
If someone has already posted this, my apologies, but it looks like Smith & Wesson is going to go after the Taurus Judge crowd. The S&W website is showing a revolver chambered in .410, 45 Colt, AND 45 ACP. 6 round cylinder to boot. Frankly, I am surprised it has taken this long for a major manufacturer to go after the Judge with their own product. It looks cool, but I am betting it will be more expensive than the Taurus.

If it has a good trigger and build quality, like you would expect from SW, then I bet it will sell, especially with .45 acp capabilities.

Maybe that would be too obvious.

Well, Taurus one-upped them with the 28ga "Raging Judge", which I think has officially redefined the word "overkill"

I don't fear guns; I fear voters and politicians that fear guns.

Think so? This looks like it should be called a "Hand Cannon".lkd wrote:Well, Taurus one-upped them with the 28ga "Raging Judge", which I think has officially redefined the word "overkill"![]()

Cute little gun for my wife. So where's the 12 gauge version?

Re: Smith & Wesson Governor
You want to talk about a solution in search of a problem? How about a lever-action revolver rifle (not a misprint) in .45 Colt and .410 bore?pbwalker wrote:both are solutions for problems that never existed...

That's nuts. The next thing we'll see is an AR-15 with a smart phone in the stock.
