Not sure I agree. Went to a place that rents P238's. Asked if they had any replacement recoil springs. "No, but I can order them". Recoil spring on a 238 has a very limited life. I don't think they keep up with the maintenance on them as well as one might think.

This is so true. I know that from personal experience. Sig sent me a spring and its worse than the original!
