They slide down a tube above the barrel and fall out the front. Watch near the end of the youtube video, above.

Now, how reliable is a system like that going to be? I have also been tempted by Bullpup designs but never given in an bought one, not yet anyway.

8.1 lbs - perhaps because it's compact, it feels heavier than it is.

That's a couple of pounds heavier than an M4 (5.5lbs unloaded), but that extra weight will be appreciated when firing 7.62 NATO.

From the pictures, it looks like they're ejected well behind the muzzle. I suppose you might hit a bit of brass if you were firing full auto and pointed almost straight down, but otherwise I don't see a reason to be concerned.
