Why does my outgoing PMs sit in the outbox for hours?

Every time I reply a PM, it just sits in my outbox for hours and hours before it actually got sent. Can anyone tell me why, or how do I avoid it?

It will sit in the outbox until the recipient reads it. It's supposed to.

Ah so you mean even though it sits in the outbox the PM did get delivered to the recipient's inbox? If that's the case, it's cool

Ummmm....yes. It got delivered to the recipient's inbox.
