S&W model 36 serial number look up?

I've got two S&W 36's. I really want to find when they were made, but can't seem to find anywhere to look up the serial number (other than sending a request to S&W) Does anyone know where to look this up? Or can anyone offer any assistance?

In one of my threads I ask the same question. Someone posted S&W's phone number. Call them they are very happy to take the time and look it up.

Post the serial numbers, substituting XXX for the last three digits.
