That worked for me until the wife got into owning her own firearms. Then she began to notice it was a new gun and not new grips. Now I ask before I buy and usually get the notice from her that she needs more ammo. The Fusion I have ordered now only cost me a thousand rounds of .45acp for her to waste, I mean shoot. I guess that is a small price to pay after all.

Husband and I seem to take turns buying guns - he gets one, means I get to get one. I get one means he gets to get one. I'm up next... time to start looking around...

Hmmmm, I think I'm probably fine, but just to be sure, here are my last two gun buying experiences (both happened in the last couple weeks):

Case #1 - I agreed to buy a Kahr PM9 from a nice gent. We coordinated a meeting at a local Academy store. I got there first, and after getting bored waiting in the car, I headed into the store. Saw a nice new Colt Defender  , but I refrained from buying it! In fact, I didn't buy the Defender until much, much later (after I had met the guy and bought the Kahr, so probably a good 30 minutes of delayed gratification).

Case #2 - I went to Tomball Pawn on Saturday because I was in the area getting the grip re-done on my Glock 21and getting new night sites put on 3 of my Glocks. I REALLY wanted a new full size 1911 to go with the Colt Defender since it was getting picked on being outnumbered by all the Glocks, and I figured it needed a friend. I left the store WITHOUT buying it, and went home. I didn't go back until yesterday (forgot that they are closed on Sundays :banghead: ). I waited until today to pick up my new Magnum Research Desert Eagle 1911 G. While ringing up my purchase, I saw a must have AK-47 style pistol in 7.62 X 39, and I even stopped myself from having the guy redo the paperwork so that I could buy multiple guns. I probably won't actually get the AK for a long long time (especially since I'm not gonna be able to get out of work until after they close today :waiting: ).

I submit these two cases as clear evidence that I have no problems in this area whatsoever. :cheers2:

I wonder which level you've reached when, to keep the babies fed, you resort to manufacturing their food? :coolgleamA:

I admit to occasional "I forgot I had that!" and "Where did that _____ go?" moments. I have a MS word doc with pics now to keep track.
