I've bought another Colt snub nose (kinda rough and worn) so I'm going to sell my prized carry piece. Gary Dean did the trigger job, a fellow Texas did an excellent job on the hammer bob and checker, and Jim Badger hand crafted the Rosewood boot grips. He narrowed them, minimized the finger grooves, and relieved the left panel for speedloader clearance.
It looks and shoots great. There is a small scratch on the right side plate up near the hammer which was there when I bought it and, actually, justified carrying it since it wasn't perfect. Also, there is a hint of wear on the left panel from carrying in my SmartCarry rig.
Also included is a like-new set of original, Colt, wood grips (you can price them on Gunbroker, and they're bringing around $40-$50), a set of Colt factory rubber grips, a Colt screwdriver, and one speedloader. I need to keep one of the two shown in the picture.
Also, picture #4 shows the Cobra before I had the hammer bobbed and checkered. Ammo's not included if we have to ship it. If it's a face-to-face transaction I can include 20 rounds of Speer Gold Dot 135 grain, short-barrel ammo.
$700 cash buys the whole shootin' match. I can ship it to your FFL for $20.
I also have it on GB, but can end the auction until the reserve is met.
