Assuming you have a CHL, Love Field is not posted with 30.06: So yes, you can carry there.sjones wrote:Is it leagal to carry in either airport if I'm just taking somebody there as long as I don't try to go past the ckeck points? thanks sj
There is no statutory prohibition from carrying at DFW; however, I don't know if the terminals are 30.06 posted.

I've carried at DFW before. It's legal as long as you don't go past the checkpoints... but I will say that there are a lot of eyes/cameras watching and I believe that security may have picked up on the fact that I was carrying a considerable amount of hardware under my shirt. Of course I often times carry a lot, and it wouldn't be so much of an issue with winter clothing.sjones wrote:Is it leagal to carry in either airport if I'm just taking somebody there as long as I don't try to go past the ckeck points? thanks sj

It doesn't seem to be much of an issue at DFW.
I had to assist a passenger leaving DFW on the morning that TSA went into the panic mode over eye liner and toothpaste. I found it odd that uniformed security and police, who were everywhere, looked over, around, and through me, not once making eye contact. I was wearing a Galco waist pack, which sagged noticeably under the weight of a (2kg.) 1911, at the time.
