I anticipated that, seeing how it only chambered shot shells I could not imagine it being anything other than a SBS, AOW, or Destructive Device. I can also see an effort by the BATFE to restrict all other Judge handgun variants and the S&W Governor in a similar manner.

That article even reports that the BATFE supposedly showed up at Taurus' booth and declared it a short-barreled shotgun.

Personally, I would have liked one as an apartment home defense weapon.

If you can hold it up. The thing looks to be as heavy as full-size Sharps rifle...

+1. Though the 28 gauge is a nice little gurly gun.

Though I'd like to see the 12 gauge autoloader.

I remember in the late 80's/early 90's they made pistol shaped hair dryers. They looked about like that.

I think we've got some 28ga slugs out at the lake house. Could make for a crazy hog gun.

28 ga. is finally gettin gup to the size where a shotgun revolver might be effective, but look just how stupid big it has to be. I think it proves just how silly the .410 revolver is.

If you want a shotgun get a shotgun. If you want a .45 revolver, get one that isn't as big heavy ugly and bulky as the judge.

A friend of mine just got the Raging Judge, .410/.45LC/.454 Casull. It's a beast. :evil2:

I haven't shot it yet but he says its awesome. Can't wait to give it a try!
