Suggestions on keeping your gun warm in car until you return

Abraham, you know that old saying about what happens when you assume? That would apply here. Your assumptions about me are entirely wrong.

Back on topic: when I have to leave my pistol in the car, I leave it in a holster. When I return, I strap it on and avoid the cold metal.

Man! Can that thing massage your back while you drive too?! I may have to get one. My wife has heated seats in her minivan.

I was going to suggest wrapping it in one of those chemical heating pads you wear on your neck or back, but the electric car blanket looks like the economical way to go.

I can't believe a man would make this complaint...but, I would never have envisioned blonde high lights being seen in guy's hair either or man purses or, well you get the idea...

Can you imagine a soldier complaining to his drill sergeant: My Beretta is terribly cold to the touch, can you suggest a way to make it fabulous again?

It won't be a whole lot longer that, thanks to global warming, a gun left in the car will be too hot to pick up.

Microwave it and it stays warm overnight. Works for animals, prob'ly work for pistol too.

It would really be bad to have to ride a bike in this weather and have to scrape ice off the gun after hiding it in the bushes with a trigger lock while in class. The trigger lock would freeze.
(Yes, it's a joke, I'd never hide a gun in the bushes on campus; I'm not sure the groundskeeper guys are all here legally, and I don't want it being found South of here)

I microwave animals all the time - usually cows, but not whole ones... often ground and shaped into discs.

But the snugglesafe pad is for microwaving and keeping animals (or pistols) warm for a long time - often overnight. Does not work for large animals (no cows) but dandy for cats and small dogs. Probably wold not work for long guns, but as Oldgringo pointed out, those work in colder weather that we'll ever see here.
