Quote: "anticipating the kick of the gun" (causing low hits)

Yep, "subconscious anticipation". Pretty common. Beyond simple trigger time (and in the midst of same), one of the best ways to overcome it is to TRY to hold the sight picture through the recoil. It's virtually impossible to do with guns as much "ooomp" as light 45s, but doing so gives the bullet time to get out the short barrel before subconsciously trying to compensate for the upcoming recoil ...

You guys talking about these things are making me think I might "need" one!

HA!
Try and buy one.

I overheard a Ray's Hardware employee tell a customer that they have a 2-month wait time, and that they sell out in 2-3 days when they get'em.

They shoot good. Can't wait to get S&W6946's .45 pistola in my hand, woohoo!
That Ray's Hardware quote makes my buy seem even better.

Bill, if you'd ever get a Saturday off, we can do some range time. or if you get off early enough maybe Targetmaster one evening. I haven't shot your newest Kimber either.... :waiting:
