East Texans(Gunshow)

Post by Texas_Tactical »

Anyone in the Tyler or Longview area, there's a gunshow coming up in a about a month in each respective city. I live around the Tyler and longview area, I'll probably go to both, I'm gonna go get another S&W bodyguard .380 and a few accessories.

Can't wait! :anamatedbanana

I am in Kilgore which is pretty much in between the two. I went to the one in Tyler at Harvey Hall last month. It was actually my first gun show.

I live in Marshall, and depending on the dates, I might make one or both.

I generally make both of them every time they are held. The best deals I ever find from any of the vendors is usually OEM magazines and grip panels. It is interesting though to see some gun models vary as much as 20% in price from one table to the next, particularly more so at the Longview show.

At the Tyler show in oct./nov.? I knew I was gonna get a Bodyguard .380. So my dad and I split up and went to all the tables real quick and got the cheapest price on the newest models.

hhmmmm... I've found the best prices to be at the shops themselves rather than the gun shows, unless you buy from an individual. The shows are good for window shopping and maybe getting hooked on a particular gun, but the prices always seem to be too close to MSRP on many models.I'll be looking for reloading components at the next show.
