My better half
Well, my better half has offically gone from "Hating guns" when we met, to now being a card carrying member of the CHL community.

That's a small price to pay. At least the Sig is still in the family.7075-T7 wrote:

Great news, remember rule #1... do not give out the combination to the safe.... they will then know how many guns we actually own.....

Congrats to 7075-T7 and your wife for getting her CHL. My wife has had her CHL for a little over a year, too!

Re: My better half
Thanks guys!
She already carried around on one of the days it was icy, she had it in her purse for the better half of the day through many stores. I asked her when we got home if she felt odd carrying a loaded gun around, and her response "No, I didn't feel any different, except it is heavy and my purse made a loud thunk sound whenever I set it down". So I got her a Coronado leather purse for her to carry, and she's happy now.
I wish I got to buy another gun since she took the P239... but I have to wait until 2012 for my next one...
So I'm biding my time by getting stuff for the guns I have, yay loopholes!

Sometimes that as much fun as getting a new firearm
