Forum Members Shoot at Garland Range

Post by Commander »

Last night, I met up with "The Marshal" and another Forum member (whose member name I did not get) at the Garland Public Range. There were six in our group that shot until the range closed at 8pm. I just wanted to thank The Marshal for inviting me and to say he is a class guy. Hope we can do this again.

Charles, thanks to your forum for giving members the opportunity to meet others with similar interests. Keep up the good work.

I must not be awake yet this morning. I read the post title as "Forum Members Shot at Garland Range." Nice to hear this story was not what I was expecting.

I, too, and grateful to Chas and all the members here that make this my favorite forum on the 'net. There is tons of information amongst our members, and the ten year-old daughter rule almost always keeps things civil. :cheers2: Here's to a great forum!

Sorry to have missed shooting with you guys. I'll try to keep a closer eye on Charle's forum next time.

Definitely would have attempted to make that one. Guess I missed that post too. Did get to meet up with arock out there once though. Not a bad little range. I hear they bought some more property (across the road a bit down from where they are now?) anyway, it's supposed to re-open there with a 300yd range. That's what the guy behind the counter told me w hile back. Hopefully, they'll keep both open! We're losing too many ranges around here as it is.

I'm going to try and go to TargetMaster tomorrow for another session with the XD. If anybody would like to meet there, let me know. Time? haven't decided yet, probably between 11 and 1..

I do believe they have a short rifle range.

S&W, the wifey needs to do some shopping, but give me a shout on the cell, if I'm free I'd love to join ya.

I'm flexible on the time. I just don't want to go too late and I need my beauty sleep in the morning.

Just returned from Targetmaster. Unfortunately neither Cyphur nor Nitrogen could make it. However, I spent some time and think I made progress on my anticipation problem. (The clock is off in my camera)

Excellent!!!

That is some of the best I have seen you shoot!
I would say that you are making great improvements...
Soooo, what was your range?

If I wasn't working, you KNOW I would have gone with ya.
