Thank you LT for taking time out of your very long day to stop for coffee. It was nice to sit and visit with you, Diode, and JLaw.

Heck, wish we would have known. This was kind of thrown together. Lt had been in Houston on other business and Diode kind of threw it all together. We chit chatted over coffee for a while before LT had to get back on the road. It was a nice time.

Till May at least.

I'm living with my best friends and working to raise my personal support for doing missions stuff.

I'm also probably going to work at the Pappadeaux in the airport to augment that and save up for going back to school soon.

Hopefully we can throw something else together soon!

I thank you guys. That was free coffee, great conversation, rest, & wake up for the drive home. I got up at 2:30 am Wed to get there for his check in at MD Anderson. Without that stop I would have HAD to stop for coffee somewhere & probably a nap.
That was fun for me. Hope yall too.

We'll have to plan a get together up here, that's all there is to it!

Hey Nick:

While you're "down here" you should join us for some IDPA shooting.

The next match is actually tomorrow with the Thunder Tactical Shooters in Conroe (Porter). See their website for details and directions @ http://www.tts-idpa.net

Also, down in Friendswood (just south of Houston) we shoot IDPA at the PSC range every 4th Saturday (except for this month because it was canceled due to it would be two days before Christmas).

See http://www.cottonfamily.com/psc-idpa/index.htm for more info.

--You'll find that there are a lot of forum members who shoot with us down here.

There are lots of other shooting opportunities in the Houston area as well.

Come join us.

Funds are still tight - I just finished my missionary training school and I'm in a transition stage of getting salary stuff squared away.

In the meantime, I just got hired on as a server at Pappadeaux in the International terminal of IAH (no carrying there!).

Give me a few weeks to get some good money coming in, and then I will see what I can do for some shooting matches.

Coffees, however, are much cheaper, and can probably happen sooner!

Coffee is good. Conversation is great. I will never drive by it w/o stopping.
