My latest additions

Post by uthornsfan »

I picked up this Taurus TCP 738 at the local Austin gun show from a very nice gentlemen! I paid $230 for the gun. It is next to my Para Tac Four that I bought myself when I returned from Iraq back in 2004!

This Remington 870 Express Magnum I picked up from the local pawn shop for $190 OTD! I am pretty sure this was used 1 time for some Dove hunting and then pawned. I found 1 dove feather when I broke it down for cleaning. You can see there are 3 super minor imperfections.

Just something to think about...whenever I take pics of my toys I try to make sure the SN is hidden from view.

You know I thought about that but I didn't think it was that big of a deal. Same with posting license plates. I mean I guess someone could figure out who you are and where you live from it but with the internet who can't you find???

nice looking guns there. how does that TCP shoot? i've been keeping my eye out for a small-ish .380 pocket gun and like the way the TCP felt. i need to see if Memorial Shooting Center has a few i can test out.

The TCP is definately not a range gun, thats for sure! It made my .45 seem like a pop gun. It is very comfortable to hold, and shoots straight at 7 yards. However it is kinda scary to shoot at first. There just isn't much gun there to keep it from kicking back on you. It's loud, and means business.

Just one dove feather? You sure there wasn't a companion feather hanging around? Don't doves always travel with one or more friends? Sad to leave a lonely single feather behind. (Ok, guess I'm in a weird mood tonight.)

Seriously - nice guns, and good deal on the Remington. Congrats on the new additions.
