Cheesy Smith&Wesson M&P Commercial(HD)
As much as I like S&W and the M&P line(I own three) I seen this video and wanted to post it, Cheesy S&W M&P product line commercial. Doesn't seem like it would arouse the interest of too many people seeing how it's more reminiscent of a NERF gun commercial.

Ad FAIL - and I think I'd like the M&P.
They show it do everything except actually fire. And I like how the last guy sweeps the viewer.

The sooner I get behind, the more time I have to catch up.

I liked his "tactical teacup" grip, too!threoh8 wrote:They show it do everything except actually fire. And I like how the last guy sweeps the viewer.

Well, first you have to put it between the tags, using the "youtube" button above the editor box. But when you do, you have to take the "www" out of the "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtrUJiwjeuE&hd=1" and remove the "&hd=1" at the end because it's not really part of the URL.Texas_Tactical wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtrUJiwjeuE&hd=1

See?

I love mine. I'm a 1911 guy, and one of the things I like about this gun is that it is ergonomically one of the most "1911-like" non-1911s I've owned and/or shot. Mine even has the frame mounted ambidextrous safety just like my 1911s have, although you can get M&Ps without the safety, as they have one of those articulated trigger safety systems built in.threoh8 wrote:Ad FAIL - and I think I'd like the M&P.
Takedown is a piece of cake - very Glock-like. Interchangeable back-straps to fit different size hands (for several years before Glock started doing it). It is reasonably accurate, and it is also a soft shooter - at least in .45 ACP it is. I've had three different relatively inexperienced female shooters who tried my 1911s and my M&P state a clear preference for the M&P because they were less aware of the recoil impulse with it. It really is a great gun. I would urge you to buy one.
On second thought... buy two.

Nothing is more durable or tough? Seems a bit outlandish since Colt, LMT, BCM, etc all conduct more rigid testing on their rifles. M&Ps aren't bad at all, and are my first choice if one opts not to get a top tier rifle.
I like the handgun too and own one. The commercial is fine for the vast majority of uninformed gun buyers - people that go only to the LGS to buy, and eat everything the salesperson feeds them.

No cheesier than Sheila Jackson Lee's favorite Pepsi Commercial. Also, I their target market is probably people new to firearms and easily wowed by "facts" and tactical scenarios. Ads are usually aimed at a specific group and this one doesn't seemed to be aimed at more experienced shooters.
PS- I do like the M&P line though.
PPS- You gotta paint your face, you don't wanna get shot in the face, do ya!?!

I tried it w/ youtube button but didn't know you had to remove "www." I appreciate the help, been trying to figure it out.
I really like my M&P .40c as my EDC weapon. .380 is fine for Gym or really hot days but It's easy to conceal while still giving me 11 rounds of the bigger .40 bullet to use if needed.
