Sig 1911 RCS Range report

Post by timdsmith72 »

Well, after what seemed like the longest week of my life, :lol: I finally got to take my new baby to the range today. There are some pictures here in case you're interested: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=42715" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I put 200 rounds through her today. A combination of full metal jacket and jacketed hollow points. Had exactly 1 FTF. Round # 15 didn't feed correctly. Also, the slide failed to lock back 1 time after the last round of the magazine. (Both the FTF and the failure to lock back were with the same magazine.) Other than that, she ran absolutely flawlessly!! All I had today were the magazines that came with it. In the next few weeks, I'm probably going to get a couple of Wilson Combat mags for it.
I couldn't be more satisfied with her performance. A couple more range trips while I'm waiting for my super tuck to come in and if she performs like today, this will be my new daily carry rig! :fire

Yep. Let it break in and loosen up.
Sounds like a keeper to me.
