Academy. 6 long guns, 9.5 handguns. March 6 - 12, 2011.

The link above contains the 4 rifles and 2 shotguns on sale.

http://www.academy.com/index.php?page=c ... ad&pgNum=5

The link above is the page containing all the handguns for sale.
I jokingly put "9.5 handguns" in the title because I didn't know if I should count the "Allied
Forces Disaster Kit" as a separate gun. The S & W Self Defense handgun it contains is listed in the next
entry after the disaster kit.

Note also on the handgun page that Academy is selling lasers for Taurus revolvers for $117.99
and lasers for Ruger LCP's for $179.99.

Happy shopping. I hope someone sees something they need.

FYI - Even though I get the Sunday DMN on Saturday, I can't post the new week's Academy ads
until 1201 AM on Sunday. I have checked. At 1155 PM on Saturday, Academy's site still shows
the sale items ending on Saturday.

As soon as Saturday turns to Sunday at midnight, the new week's ad magically appears.
Aren't computers wonderful (sometimes?).

SIA
N. Texas LTC's hold 3 breakfasts each month. All are 800 AM. OC is fine.
2nd Saturdays: Rudy's BBQ, N. Dallas Pkwy, N.bound, N. of Main St., Frisco.
3rd Saturdays: Golden Corral, 465 E. I-20, Collins St exit, Arlington.
4th Saturdays: Sunny St. Cafe, off I-20, Exit 415, Mikus Rd, Willow Park.

At the same price. It's like getting the disaster kit free. Hey - at least the Pelican case is useful.

At least they do it when the date changes in America, instead of Malaysia or California.

Thanks SIA! I finally picked up the LCR now that it's on sale! :thumbs2:

ETA: The S&W in the Disaster Kit is a Sigma (roughly a $280 / $300 pistol), so be forewarned...it's not the same as the S&W SD...though the two share some similarities.

According to S&W the Allied Forces pistol is a Sigma not a Home Defense.

That 3 inch Rossi .357 for 250 teases me everytime I look at it.

I'd love to add to my .357 collection, but have other priorities right now....dang it. :grumble

pbwalker:
Well, I'm sure pleased that this week's ad entry lead you to the LCR.

pbwalker and MoJo:
Thank you for the correction that the "kit" contains a Sigma instead
of the other model. I hazily had thought that since the SW Self Defense
pistol was available, that the "kit" had been upgraded with it.
