(14) "Chemical dispensing device" means a device, other than a small chemical dispenser sold commercially for
personal protection, that is designed, made, or adapted for the
purpose of dispensing a substance capable of causing an adverse
psychological or physiological effect on a human being.
No size limit there. I just wouldn't load a fire-truck up with it and dispense it with the hose.
Should point out that there is no clear limit. As "small" is undefined. TXI has previously stated that the DPD does not believe riot units are legal. The keychain units are clearly legal. 2oz or 4oz units should be fine.
I'm sure there could also be a debate in court if "pepper spray" is actually a chemical or not. CS and CN are clearly chemicals.
Not really, OC is a Hazardous Material. It has a 3 for health on the MSDS, and a 1 for fire.
Its chemical formula is C18H27NO3.

Sabre apparently is what NYPD uses, and it says it has Cayenne Pepper, "military grade tear gas", and invisible UV dye. Does that sound reasonably powerful enough to stop an attacker?
Sabre is good stuff too.

I keep forgetting to mention that whoever gets sprayed will glow under a UV light, because of the dye.

Take away the second first, and the first is gone in a second.

OC certainly is a substance that is considered a Hazardous Material. And it has a molecular formula...
Just like water has a molecular formula of H2O.... but we're not banning sprinkler systems are we?
Because I don't know everything I like to read. I've read a security officer's manual that talk about CN, CS and OC. It states that OC isn't a chemical for legal purposes.

Someone tried to say that OC is just pepper spray and another refuted it calling it a hazardous chemical. Its pretty much a meaningless argument. Either way, its still legal to carry, just use a reasonably sized dispenser.

You will have your FoxLab quickly! Stuff is worth every cent. I have been a real believer in it over the last week in Vegas. I can't carry my gun here Thank God we will be in Arizona sometime early tomorrow morning.

If your gun gets a little uncomfortable while your in the car. go ahead, remove it from the holster and set it on the dash... If only for a few minutes. Yeah I know you don't normally think much of open carry, but you gotta admit its kinda nice to be able to do that.
I had the chance to open carry in a couple of states over the last week and decided against it. Just not my thing, but I do admit that I was tempted to try it out for a few minutes. I did not want to explain the amount of firearms and ammo that we had in the van for Front Sight. True testimony for Comp-Tac..I rode with my Infidel and G26 for over three thousand miles and was not uncomfortable until I had to take it off.

Can anyone suggest anything that is toddler-safe? I had been carrying a key defender, but I know that if my toddler got hold of my keys, he could get it to spray.
