Even though I can be quite sentimental, I have never given a name to a gun, car or any other inanimate object. I will only give a name to something if it will come to me after I call them. If I ever own I boat, I will probably make an exception to that rule. :cool:

I call my EDC pistols, Arabic Thugs :biggrinjester: street names, each that does fit with its size and mission. :biggrinjester:

Not sure I ever understood the concept of announcing to ones companions that they are armed.

I take that back... I have said... "Oh crud, they have metal detectors to go along with that 30:06 sign. I need to take my gun back to the truck".

She doesnt really like that I carry and our rule is that I dont tell her when I am.
However, on rare occasion, when we are in certain circumstances, she does want to know.
That is when the names come into play.

...no, but I lick them...kinda like the VW commmercial...to keep my sons away from them...

I'm in Birmingham at the moment but when we get back, we need another 50' of garden hose and some more Wal-Mart sacks and we are there!
