A Houston man was arrested for torturing a dog and throwing him into oncoming traffic.

When questioned by a Harris County deputy, 45-year-old Floyd Robinson Jr. claimed he was just walking the dog. He was arrested at the scene.

Ugh…he should be locked up in an asylum. Animal cruelty can be a sign of psychosis, and often a predictor of later violence against humans.

“During the 1980s, Felthous and others12–17 conducted
several early studies that consistently showed
a relationship between a history of cruelty to animals
and later aggression against people.”

Maybe he thought since Michael Vick was taken back by the NFL it's OK to mistreat animals. Those who abuse children and animals deserve no second chances.

I just got home 30 minutes ago from paying over $1,400 to the emergency vet to save my dog. We're waiting to see if she is going to make it or not, and how much it more it might cost to do so. I don't understand people who abuse dogs, and I want to hurt them back.

Sorry... I didn't mean to hijack this thread. Things are not going well for my dog. She's still struggling to breathe, they don't know what is causing it yet, and the costs are adding up to a level I can't sustain. I don't want to quit on her, but she's an old grunty thing, and she's tired. This is killing me.

Don't worry about the thread TAM. It's much better to hear about a person's love for their pets rather than somebody's lack of respect for life. Keep the faith Brother.
