Re: Does one clean Tritium sights?
Just my 2cents and it isn't worth that... but in my field I deal with "rubber" cups on headphones for hearing screenings. After time rubbing alcohol dries and breaks down the rubber. Manufacturers tell you not to use alcohol on them. That being said, I would use and have used mild soap and water on a q-tip. I squish it out till it is only just damp and swirl it on the little dots. Works for me... The headphones get cleaned with alcohol free baby wipes.... heck hadn't tried that on my sights... might work fine.

I have never thought about cleaning my sights. They still glow pretty bright after almost 9 years.
However, if were worried about them being a little dusty or whatever, I think I would just use a q-tip dampened with plain water and blow dry.

Sorry, Bill. Good question. They are Trijicons. Q-tip moistened in water and quickly dried sights worked wonders.WildBill wrote:I don't know if the OP has Trijicon sights. He didn't specify the brand or breed.![]()
