An off-duty Houston police officer used a martial arts move to kill a man at a Stafford bar because the officer thought the patron had "no business being there," a prosecutor said Thursday. Thomas Harris is charged with criminally negligent homicide in the death of Sylvanus Okhueleigbe.
Another incidence of "deadly force" without using a weapon, but this time it was more than bodily injury.

Re: Off-Duty Officer on Trial in Choking Death
...sounds like a bad cop deal...if so...let him hang...a lot of departments have forbidden the choke holds for a long time...too easy to cross the line and kill someone...
