the time begins at the date of FINAL Disposition not the date of conviction. By this I mean that if you were convicted on 1/1/2005 and were given defered adjudication for a period of 1 year with 100 hours of community service the time of the 5 year period would begin upon completion of either the defered adjudication period or the completion of the community service what ever is the later occurance of the 2.
