We went to check out a gently used full sized M&P 9 for use as an IDPA gun... of course we had to look at ALL the cases and saw the Sig 1911-22. Of course we had to touch it. Then because the youngster would be "jonesed" it had to come home.
Were told, but have not confirmed, that it accepts the GSG magazines. This is good because it is so new that Sig doesn't have extra mags available. Manufacture date on this one is March 2011. It is a rebranded ATI GSG 1911-22....
I like it!! Of course I did not win points for going for a test drive while the child was in class. My reasoning for not taking her - wanted to make sure it ran well before she got it!
