Yeah I was trying to get better pictures and the model number, thats right around the price range he was looking for though maybe I will just passWildBill wrote:It's hard to tell the condition or the model number from the picture. I would pay $200-300 for it.
Make sure to unload it too!bronco78 wrote:If you still have it, or access.. swing the cylinder out. You'l see the MDL near the cyl hinge
The S&W Model 629 is stainless.Keith B wrote:Looks to be a model 629 to me. The .44 special rounds will be harder to find than the .44 mag. Might be worth a little more if everything is really tight and scratches are just real shallow and can be buffed.
I actaully have not got a chance to see it in person, I am just clueless when it comes to wheel guns and figured I would ask before I wasted my time dont think I will buy it if I cant get it from him for less then its worthWildBill wrote:Make sure to unload it too!bronco78 wrote:If you still have it, or access.. swing the cylinder out. Are you saying you think this one is nickel and not stainless? It could be a Model 29, but the full length ejector shroud throws me off on that.WildBill wrote:The S&W Model 629 is stainless.Keith B wrote:Looks to be a model 629 to me. Very observant. I would pass.MoJo wrote:First it's a Taurus. Taurus made a .44 Special about 20 years ago. I'd offer $250 tops good guns but not premium.
