Traded Wally Walk

Post by bigmoney »

Finally got my card, what a relief. Couldn't wait to make my first stride. But opted out of doing a traditional wally walk, since I don't know anyone in the Houston area yet to provide proof that it was done. So instead I decided on a trip to the Woodlands Tactical for a spare mag holder and a nice chat with Ron, then headed across the street to roam Academy. It's an incredible feeling to walk around in public just knowing it's there, but I never got any nervious or strange feelings. It felt right. The Tucker "The Answer" is incrediable. Complete comfort in the truck and walking around. Couldn't tell it was there much. But it'll be there from now on. God bless Texas and our founding fathers for ensuring our right to bear arms! :patriot:

Congrats on getting your plastic. I know the feeling to walk around in public just knowing it's there.

Congratulations bigmoney on getting you plastic! I've been to Wally World a few times since getting my plastic but I still have yet to an official Wally Walk with photos and everything.

Academy Ambulating instead of Wally Walking :coolgleamA:
I bet you'll be carrying on the next Wally World trip anyway.

I too have never done pitchurs of mahself ... yet anyway

Congrats on the plastic :thumbs2:

I still recall my "first day":
I went where they SELL ALCOHOL (HEB grocery store)
Then to BUY DRUGS (Walgreens prescription refill, blood pressure medicine)
Then to where ALCOHOL IS SERVED (restaurant, and had a Dr. Pepper and burger)
Then TO A BANK (made deposit)
Then to a CONVENIENCE STORE (got gas ... maybe it was the burger)
Then to a SCHOOL (picked up niece)
I had to wait until Sunday so I could go to CHURCH
(We don't have a Wal-Mart in our city, so that was a week or so later... no Academy here either, and not a Frat party to be found ...)
