Striker fire sub compact 45's?

I am looking to purchase a sub compact 45 (barrel length ~3.5in). My current carry weapon, XD-9 full size, it just flat too heavy and unweildy to be comfortable. I want to stick with a striker fired weapon just because I like the style better, and also don't want to have an external safety. I like any combination of trigger + grip safety. Besides the Glocks and XD 45 subcompact, are there any other makes and models out there that meet these specifications that I am unaware of?

I have a Kahr P45 if you are interested. And excellent striker fired 45 that is as flat as a pancake!

I sure wish I could find this model on Taurus' website but they aren't making it easy. Is there another model number it goes by?

I have a Milpro in .40 and it's run like a champ since day 1. The single stack slims are only up to .40. I thought they had a .45 also.

Millenium has had numerous issues. The compact almost none. It comes with a pic rail so you can mount a streamlight and/or laser. The compact from CDNN has the comfortable ribber grips, the Millenium does not.

I've got the Taurus and I absolutely love it. The other gun I compared when I was shopping was the Glock 36. The Glock cost more, holds fewer rounds and does not have second strike capability. The Taurus won hands down. I am very happy with my choice of the Taurus PT 24/7 Pro C DS.

I actually rented a Glock 26 the other day at the range, and shot it right after my Taurus and though I thought I would like the 26 (9mm vs of the 36) I did not like it at all. Not Glock bashing, I know many love it...just wasn't for me. Hurt my hand, but I shot 800 rounds in the Taurus in 8 hours, no problems. Well, barrel was hot, but yeah :))

I guess with any gun you can get a lemon. Some people swear by them but I had a Millinium Pro PT145 and it was a piece of junk. One of the magazines that came with it was faulty and Taurus replaced it with no problem - they have excellant customer service. It would have a failure to feed at least one per magazine when I first got it and only improved to maybe every other mag after about 500 rounds. The mag release was positioned in a way where I would inadvertantly push the release and drop the mag while firing. I may consider a Taurus revolver someday but I will personally stay away from Taurus semi-auto's in the future.
