This Sunset bill thing sounds like a repeat from last week SB1618

That Senator should learn the definition of Decimate though

Is there an agenda for today's session? Any idea when 354 might come up?

All I know is "second reading" if they get that far

Wow, quite a list. Have they been working through it in the order listed? What item are they on now?

But they are on SB 152 now, and SB 354 is above 152 so the order on there must be .... :headscratch

Maybe they're getting all the other ones out of the way first. More time to debate.

Sounds like Hinojosa took a lot of time trying to not let prior human trafficking of a child for sex be admissible in a sexual assault case

West also seems to not want it to be easier to prosecute sex offenders using "similar offenses".

152 passed to engrossment

desk is clear, adjourning soon Pesach/Passover starts soon

committee meeting on school education going to meet upon adjournment

Tomorrow's Senate session will be longer

Not only on these bills, but if Senators West and Hinojosa had laryngitis today, we would have accomplished in 10 minutes what it's taken over two hours to do. Combined, they've monopolized 75% of time on the floor.

Habenero in the water glasses would probably only be effective against one, so perhaps their allergy pills will get lost tomorrow ...

Time was monopolized by a couple against it ... on other bills ... so it didn't get reached

He probably thinks so, but really, are those he is "defending" his constituents, or illegal's?

Depends on if they get their "Voter ID" from the flea market in time to vote or not.
He really objected to messing with the human traffickers at all, and even limited to children, with additional limitation to children sold for sex purposes, because it could affect all human trafficking businessmen.... err constituents.
