WTB or WTT for AR-15 flat top

All,

I would like to purchase or trade for an AR-15. I make and model flexible. I just would like to get in to the 5.56 arena and beside I need another rifle. I am in Houston but can drive to Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, heck I will even be going to El Paso in a week or so. I am flexible in price but would like to keep it under $900 or so. So I am not looking for the latest and greatest with all of the doodads. I just need a good starter. I would like an flat top or removable carry handle so I can easily add optics. As far as trades if you are looking for something in particular let me know.

I just received yesterday a new Rock River mid-length flat top that I will let it go to a fellow forum member for $850. Since I am an FFL I will need 4473 completed and sales tax. This is a great deal for a quality AR.... Not sure how long it will last at this price..
