Well, it WAS Massachusetts. Since they don't allow guns there, people must envision their existence.

Maybe they've never seen one except in the movies.

Come to think of it, I think an umbrella gun was used in an old Batman movie

I thought that was the Penguin and sleeping gas came out of the tip, not a bullet. Oh, wait, that was in the TV series with Adam West.
