I am heavily considering the purchase of a Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry and when I checked it out at Cabela's that was the first thing that came to mind was accidental activation. I really like it quite a bit but I really don't want a dead battery when/if it is ever needed and I also don't want a red dot following me around on the floor.

It sure is pretty though. :drool2:

I've had my Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II for a year and a half now - still on the original battery and going strong.

That's good to hear. May I ask how you carry (IWB, OWB, etc.)? What type of holster do you use?
